IN LOVING MEMORY OF BRAD NICHOLS
Brad was tragically taken from us on Saturday 19th July 2008.
We extend our thoughts and deep felt sympathy to Brad's wife Belinda, the Nichols and Howard families and Brad's many friends and colleagues.
As a Forsythes Partner, work colleague and friend, Brad was respected, admired and loved and will be dearly missed by all of us.

INDUSTRY, BUSINESS & EDUCATION JOIN FORCES TO TRAIN LONG-TERM UNEMPLOYED FOR SKILL SHORTAGE
Forsythes Recruitment, Wesley Uniting Employment (WUE), TAFE NSW - Hunter Institute and RPC Technologies (Reinforced Plastic Composites) have joined forces to train long-term unemployed as fibreglassers to fill a critical skill shortage in the fibreglassing and plastic composites industry.

COLLECTORS REALLY DO CARE - ANNUAL ART EXHIBITION RAISES MORE THAN $24,000 FOR SAMARITANS!
The fourth annual Forsythes "Collectors Care" Art Exhibition has been hailed as the biggest and best yet. More than 1000 visitors frequented the exhibition over the 10 day period to view a staggering selection of 196 works from 88 of the Hunter’s best artists!
To date 85 of those works have been purchased, with commissions from their sale contributing to approximately $24,500 raised in aid of Samaritans, an increase of almost $10,000 on last years efforts.
All monies raised from the exhibition will go towards the setup of Hunter Headspace which will provide a one stop shop for young people to access a range of services including health, education, drug and alcohol, work and mental health.

FROM CORPORATE GIFTS TO COMMUNITY GIFTS
This Christmas, Forsythes decided to make a donation to the Nicholas Trust and Samaritans Foundation in lieu of giving corporate Christmas gifts to their valued clients.
“We are very proud to work closely with the Nicholas Trust and Samaritans Foundation throughout the year and are pleased to be able to make an additional donation to these very worthy charities at this special time of the year. We’re sure that our clients join us in supporting the important work that these organisations undertake for families and those in need within the Hunter and surrounding regions,” said Forsythes CEO, Mr Paul Hankinson.

HUNTER BUSINESS WOMEN'S NETWORK - Woman of Enterprise Award for 2007
Congratulations to our Forsythes Partner Suzanne Delbridge-Bailey who on Friday 17th August received the Hunter Business Women's Network Woman of Enterprise Award for 2007!
The Woman of Enterprise Award recognises the achievements of a Hunter Woman who has outstanding leadership ability, has shown excellence in entrepreneurial ability and management skills either in the public or private sector.
The HBWN received over 40 nominations for this year's awards and Suzie was selected as one of three finalists in her category. The Woman of Enterprise Award Selection Criteria were:
- Vision and Leadership
- Management
- Industry and Social Contribution
A great night was had by all who attended the awards night.
