New Partner and Director rise from within the Forsythes ranks
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Newcastle-based business services firm Forsythes is pleased to announce Audit Group Manager Martin Matthews has joined its partnership team and Training General Manager Chad White has joined the Information Technology and Training division as a joint director effective 1 July 2005.

Martin joined Forsythes in June 2004 following 13 years with Deloitte in Sydney and London. He has a wealth of audit and advisory experience, from the serving of small not-for profit companies through to large listed multinationals such as Rinker & CSR. He is renowned for his technical ability, professionalism, work ethic and ability to maintain strong client relationships.

Martin has experience in many industries including manufacturing, construction materials, education and training, hospitality, financial services, distribution, agriculture and viticulture.

“In a relatively short time Martin has gained the respect of our staff and clients and has proven to be a tremendous addition to our management team. Martin’s influence on our audit capability has been significant and I am very optimistic about continued growth in this area of our business,” said Forsythes CEO, Mr Paul Hankinson.

"I'm very grateful for the opportunity that Partnership will provide. The Forsythes Audit Division has been very successful over the past twelve months attracting quality clients and staff with revenues increasing in excess of 20%. Most of the staff in our Audit Division trained with Deloitte so we believe we can provide a ‘Big 4’ quality audit service without the cost," Mr Matthews said.

Chad commenced employment with Forsythes in 1998 as a Business Development Manager in training & recruitment. He became the General Manager of the Forsythes Information Technology Training arm incorporating New Horizons Newcastle in 2000. He has a Bachelor of Education from Newcastle University and is focused on providing a broad range of accredited professional training services to the local marketplace.

“Chad has tremendous customer relationship skills and has been instrumental in the growth of our training division. We welcome Chad as a joint director and look forward to him playing a greater role in our overall IT & Training structure,” said Forsythes IT & Training Managing Director, Mr Paul Marjoribanks.

“It’s a great opportunity to join an expanding local Information Technology and Training company as part of the Forsythes group. I’m looking forward to adding value to clients of Forsythes by bundling our training and technical services into one brand,” said Mr Chad White.

With more than 50 years experience, Forsythes combines a tradition of business expertise with innovative thinking and state-of-the-art systems in a dynamic commercial environment. Forsythes provides services in Accounting, Recruitment, IT & Training, Financial Planning and Forensic Accounting to a client-base that is rapidly expanding within and beyond the Hunter.
